There are two tabs called For You and Explore. While the For You section automatically organizes songs according to your taste, the Browse section offers a variety of songs from different genres.

Adjust Video Recording Speed Instagram Reels
There is also a way to set the video recording speed. To do so, use the right arrow icon that looks like a play button. Currently, Reels allows you to record videos in slow motion up to. 3x and .5x . You can also speed up the clip by selecting 2x and 3x. By default, 1x is selected.
Add Interesting Filters to Instagram Reels
Before starting with the recording, you can choose from many cool effects to make the clips look attractive. Just tap on the smiley button and then swipe right on the big white circle to access all the available effects. Then, choose the one that looks suitable for the theme.
Set Timer for Instagram Reels
Instagram Reels also lets you set a timer so that you can prepare perfectly for the shoot. To set a timer, tap on the timer icon on the left and then set the duration for your clip (0.1 to 15 seconds). Once done, tap on Set Timer. When you start recording a clip, a timer will appear on the screen.
Align Your Instagram Reels
If your video looks a bit messy, you can align it perfectly. To do so, simply tap on the Align button.
Replay your Instagram Reels
Once you have recorded Instagram Reels, tap on the back arrow at the bottom to replay the video.
Save your Instagram Reels
If you want to save Instagram Reels on your device, tap on the forward arrow at the bottom. Then, tap on the Save button at the top to save your clip.
Beautify Your Instagram Reels By Adding Cool Texts, Emojis and Stickers
If you want to make your Instagram Reels eye-catching, you can add interesting texts, emojis and stickers. After you record the clip, tap on the forward arrow at the bottom. Then, tap the emoji icon at the top to choose from a variety of stickers and emojis.
If you want to doodle, tap on the doodle button above and then use your creativity to add something unique. To add text, tap the text button in the upper right corner of the screen and then add the appropriate text.
Share your Instagram Reels
After editing your Instagram Reels, you can share them with your friends and followers. To do so, tap the forward arrow at the bottom. Next, add a title and choose how you want to share your Reels with others. For example, you can choose to share your clips for feeds or stories. In the end, hit the share button!
Important to note:
- You can also record Reels with your own original audio.
- Remember, when you post Reels on a public account, anyone on Instagram can create Reels using your original audio.
- If your account is set to private, no one will be able to create Reels using your original audio.
- Note that Reels posted to Feed or Explore will appear in the Reels tab on your Instagram profile. However, Reels shared in Stories and Direct will be automatically deleted after 24 hours and you will not find them on your profile.

Whenever someone shares your Reels, only your followers will be allowed to see them. Also, no one will be allowed to make Reels using your original audio.
To make your Reels private, go to profile tab -> menu button which looks like three horizontal lines -> Settings -> Privacy -> Account Privacy. Now, turn on the switch for Personal Account.
